Lets face it, it's hard to imagine Wilkes Barre without Boscovs. Boscovs Department Store has been a staple in center city Wilkes Barre since 1980, and it has been the life jacket that kept our great city afloat when times were looking dim. 

If you have ever been to Boscovs, you know how special it is to the community. Whenever you father needs a suit, he can go to Boscovs. Whenever your family wants to plan a vacation, they can go talk to the wonderful ladies at Boscov's Travel. When you start a family and need to fill your house with furniture, Boscovs has options for all your needs, and they deliver too! 

Without getting too far in depth with this, Boscovs has been what Wilkes Barre has needed. They have been there for us through good times and bad. None of this would be possible without Al Boscov, who brought Boscovs Department Store to our beautiful city in 1980, and has literally made it the center of our community. At this time, I am asking for your signature to let the community know it's time for a statue of Al Boscov to welcome the young and old when they stroll through downtown Wilkes Barre. Lets honor the man that has brought countless memories to the folks of NEPA. We owe this to him!
