As concerned residents, we are asking the Bound Brook Planning Board to deny any plans to construct an apartment complex at the current site of Venue 518 on the corner of Vosseller ave and W. Maple avenues formerly Madelines, originally Herb Patullo's Original Green House restaurant

Bound Brook is already oversaturated with large development projects - specifically apartment complexes - that put a drain on infrastructure, congest traffic, and limit opportunities for new families or businesses to become long-term investors in our community. 

With the developer's proposal to build 40 units on one of the most dangerous corners in town, provide a limited number of parking spaces, and reduce the setback to neighboring homes from 15ft to 2 ft, it is clear they have given little consideration to the effects this complex will have on the area and the permanent residents who live here.

We appeal to this body to put the best interests of Bound Brook residents before developers who look to turn a quick profit at our expense. 

Therefore, we call for the Bound Brook Planning Board to deny the application for this project at the August 26th, 2021 planning board meeting.
