Please Boris put a ban on the sale of fireworks to the public! Please limit firework displays to organised local events where people know they are coming. This year for over a week, there have been fireworks every single night for over 5 hours with no warning. This noise pollution causes unbelievable amounts of stress to domestic and wild animals which is totally cruel and unnecessary. My poor dog spends over 5 hours each night shaking with fear with his teeth chattering. Even sedatives do not calm him down. We shouldn’t have to sedate an animal for humans to have fun! Please I beg everyone to sign this petition for the sake of every animal who can’t speak for themselves, domestic or wild. Fireworks are not only an unnecessary stress to animals but also a fire hazard to many where selfish people set them off in small gardens throughout the evening.
