Great Britain is well known as an Animal loving Country, whether it is Dogs, Cats, Cows, Sheep the list goes on and on. However, why should it still be accepted that Battery Farms are still Operating and that Supermarkets are STILL allowed to sell Caged Bird Eggs.

These Farms should be closed down and should not be allowed to operate. The way the Chickens are treated and kept in inhumane conditions are not acceptable. It is ANIMAL CRUELTY at its best and if the public can no longer buy the caged eggs, they are no longer supporting the Battery Farms. As The Cornish Baker I condone this and will only buy Dutchy Organic Free Range Eggs or other well known Free Range Supplier.

We need to:

STOP SUPPLIERS

CLOSE DOWN BATTERY FARMS

STOP SUPERMARKETS FROM SELLING THESE CAGED EGGS. 

I have seen and heard far too much, especially recently, regarding the cruelty of these birds and it MUST STOP! As a Nation we are not allowed to treat any other Animal like it, so why should these Chickens be subjected to terrible living conditions and cruelty. The extra cost of buying Free Range Eggs are very little, and I feel so much better knowing that the eggs I am using come from Happy living Hens.

I am asking you to please help stop this barbaric treatment towards these Chickens and to Stop the Supermarkets from selling them.
