Mairead Philpott killed 6 of her children in a fire, she was convicted of the crime and sentenced to 17 years in prison and is now being freed after only serving 8 years. 

what type of message does that send out, it is bad enough that murder only comes with a 15 year sentence. but any one who is convicted of killing children should not have any time taken off their sentence, they should service every day of their sentence in prison.

this petition to to send a message to parliament that ghastly child killings, that shock a nation should come with whole life terms, or at the very least the killers should serve full sentences, children killed can not speak for themselves and they are the innocent party, so sent a message to your local MP, that life should mean life.  

when is this society going to realize that these killers need to be kept off the street and not be allowed to go on to enjoy life, since they took it away from innocent children.
