Boris Johnson wishes to appoint Paul Dacre as head of Ofcom, but Paul Dacre's history clearly shows his bias, bigotry, right-wing agenda and anti-BBC stance makes him utterly unsuitable for this position and would clearly render Ofcom as nothing more than a Government cheerleader, rather than it's official position which is listed as "Ofcom has wide-ranging powers across the television, radio, telecoms and postal sectors. It has a statutory duty to represent the interests of citizens and consumers by promoting competition and protecting the public from harmful or offensive material."  Paul Dacre's entire professional life has been the exact opposite of this.
