Mairead Philpott has been released from Prison. She only served 8 and half years of a 17 year sentence. This can not be allowed to happen for many reasons. 

This is not justice for those poor children who were left to die in a blazing house purposely.

How on earth can we allow a woman who murdered her 6 children be out onto our streets. Does our system honestly believe that serving just over a year for each child is enough justice for those lives. I certainly don’t, I believe she should serve the full 17 years sentence and I believe many many people believe this too. Those children will never have the life they deserved because she took away that chance. However someone somewhere thinks 8 and half years was enough, that’s an outrage. I have never created a petition, however I was so outraged to learn that she had been freed I had to try and do something to get her sent back to where she belongs to serve her full sentence, please read up on what that woman did and sign this petition to get her release over turned.

Her release will cost the tax payer thousands of pounds, something of which I don’t believe she deserves,  many people lost their jobs through covid and are struggling. Why should they struggle and watch this woman get protection, a new identity, a home. Send her back to prison to serve her full sentence and invest that money where it is needed.
