HOSPITALITY NEEDS YOUR HELP
 
The hospitality sector is being forced to its knees with 98% of the UK hospitality sector facing Tier 2 and Tier 3 restrictions this December. It’s time to make stand. 
 
As a sector we have done everything we can and spent millions of pounds to comply with the government guidance in order to keep our teams and guests safe and businesses open. And it’s worked - less than 2% of infections have originated in hospitality venues - yet we are still being forced to close under the new tier regulations, without any credible evidence to support these decisions. We believe all pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels should be able to operate like they can in Tier 1 regions.
 
Without any change or any additional financial aid for the sector, we are going to see tens of thousands of businesses closing and over a million job losses. The initiatives already established by the Government are much needed and welcomed but they do not provide anywhere near enough support that is so desperately needed for our sector to survive.

If the government think an announcement on 16th December moving some Tier 3 areas to Tier 2 will help save hospitality, they can think again. Giving venues 3 days to re staff, order goods, take deliveries, hope for bookings and re open will not save Christmas for the industry. The impact their last minute, leaked announcements are having, not only on businesses but, on the mental health of staff is also particularly damaging.
 
We need more from the UK government.

We need our venues back open, no matter where they are located.

Please join us in demanding the UK Governments to give all hospitality venues Tier 1 level restrictions.
