Re-open the old Ringwood to Christchurch railway as a car-free cycleway

Re-open the old Ringwood to Christchurch railway as a car-free cycleway
Why this petition matters
I'm proposing that a new cycle route be created linking RINGWOOD, Verwood, Ashley Heath, St Leonards to Christchurch and Bournemouth (Town Centre & Iford).
Currently there is a gap of 3/4 of a mile (0.75 miles) between Wattons Lane and Avon Causeway, plugging this gap will create a cycleway between Ringwood and Christchurch. The route at Hurn Lane in Ringwood will link up to the Castleman Trailway taking Pedestrians and Cyclists directly to the town centre.
I'm also proposing that this route should link up to the cycleway that runs parallel to the Wessex Way from Cooper Dean Roundabout to Wellington Road by having a new 2 way cyclelane on the east side of the Wessex Way from Cooper Dean roundabout through Blackwater Junction to link up to the Avon Causeway.
The people of BCP have been calling for a lane of the Wessex Way to be turned into a cycleway for a very long time and I believe this proposal will fulfill commuters needs by connecting local towns. https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/18890573.letter-one-lane-wessex-way-dedicated-cycle-way/
