Penalty of unpaid work with moorland rangers for people known to of started moorland fires

The Issue

Many moorland fires are caused by careless people who are ignorant too the potential damage and devistation they can and do cause to our local moorland and wildlife, these acts of pure stupidly need a stricter punishment as a deterant for this behaviour, I propose at the very least anyone caught with involvement in the start of a moorland fire be made by law to under go a minimum of 50 hours unpaid labour working on the moors with moorland rangers and the National Trust to not only see first hand the devistation caused but to help through hard graft, rectify their actions, fines do not act as a deterant and the money dosnt get given to the fire departments or National Trust to be put back into the restoration of the moors. Thousands of inosent animals, birds and other wildlife and in some cases domestic animals have lost their life's, some of which are endangered species! We owe it to them to have a better deterant to these acts of ignorance. How many firemen /fire women are being drafted in to put out these fires taking important services away from the streets from all over the country at a charge to the tax payer?!, The excuses of accidental fires should not be accepted as a excuse, bbq's, fireworks, glass bottles, cigarette butt's, rubbish of all kinds can cause fires and devistation to the wildlife and moorland as a whole, it needs to STOP!
