Fireworks have been a continuous issue, the cause of public arguments and also injury for years.

Animals and live stock are forced to be put through the torture of being terrified. ‘Banging’ fireworks can even cause heart attacks for our beloved pets. They cannot go toilet, refuse to eat, vomit, shake in fear and are completely traumatised by the experience. A dogs hearing is 10x more sensitive to that of a humans.

Not only are the effects of fireworks distressing for animals, we also need to consider the consequences on our veterans suffering with PTSD and children/adults with disabilities.

I suggest that only silent ones are sold to the public while ones with a bang are used for organised events, once a year and between certain times.
