To keep all hair and cosmetics shops open During lockdown. We as the local community, That are reliant And need to be considered. We are unable to walk into a local supermarket to purchase products to maintain our hair, skin and beauty. Many within the community are reliant on many different products Within the shops that aid our hair care, skin routines.

Last lockdown so many had suffered severely, having  no access to our products to maintain our styles which impacted  On our self esteem, culture and lifestyles. Online we were extortionated with very high prices, giving many no options to purchase products at unrealistic prices. During the national pandemic. Prices was risen unfairly, due to the major need of these products, causing families further pressure on finances and stuggle.  

This must be reconsidered given  so many within local communities are still attending school and work as normal. We shouldn't have to be put in a position where they need to worry About maintaining personal  hygiene and appearances.

The cosmetics industry revolves around beauty and seeks to enhance your natural features. , Considering we are facing lockdown Is important for a mental and physical well being And cultureTo be included and thoughtnabout. So many on low income,  already facing financial pressure, do not have the funds to bulk buy personal  items such as these to maintain our apprearances, our skin, hair & hygiene. These are products we have used from childhood growing up, and now for our kids. within the community so many have been victimised, faced many issues relating to our hair and appearances. This is  hugely important in our upkeep, apperances, culture and maintenance and should be thought about.
