Every year hundreds if not thousands of people buy fireworks for use in their garden, many people live in busy built up areas with neighbours all around. I see it too commonly animals having severe reactions and some even passing away due to stress. These involve domestic pets, livestock and horses. I feel and others that fireworks should be banned from being used, unless for event purposes, and if used for event purposes should be done in an area which isn’t built up. If banned it will ensure our pets do not have to go through hours of loud bangs and lights affecting their welfare. Too commenly as well young people get hold of these fireworks and use them in inappropriate ways, causing injury and harm to others around.
