As a dog owner I see the effect fireworks have on pets. With organised displays we can keep our dogs away from the noises as they’re on at a set time which normally isn’t too long, but with garden fireworks being set off randomly all through the day and night, our dogs are suffering. 
I think fireworks on general sale being banned would go a long way to helping millions of families with pets that suffer. 
I have no figures are facts to back up anything but I’m pretty sure these fireworks contribute to a rise in accidents, with the use of the police, ambulance and fire services being used.
