My father had his most recent fall in a care home in November 2020. This ultimately led to his death four days later . My father suffered latter stage Alzheimer’s and could  not communicate for much of his final years . This was the latest in a history of falls at the Nursing Home he was staying at . The explanations each time were either none existent  or vague . None of his falls were recorded by CCTV as there were was none fitted anywhere in the building .This petition is sadly too late to help my father but will help care homes residents now and in future generations .  Please sign my petition to ask the government to have cctv made mandatory in all public and communal areas of care homes . 10,000 signatures required for this to be taken to parliament.
