Especially with everything going on today reading is an escape for people and more people are subscribing to subscription box services. Book of the month is missing out on a part of their business that could increase not only their reach but their revenue as well.

Book of the month offers books early and with their logo on the front so it makes it extra special. Unfortunately they do not offer shipping outside the United States which leaves their international customers no option to purchase from them. If they do want a BOTM book they have to either pay a service fee to push the book delivery across the border or get someone in the U.S to send it to them.

I know shipping is more expensive for international customers but it is not something that is new and BOTM could still offer it to those customers who would like to subscribe. They could either mail it in their traditional box or in a bubble mailer to make shipping more cost effective.

I know to make this change wouldn’t be easy but hopefully they would be willing to take the chance if they knew there was enough interest in this service.
