The more we know and learn about elephants -and other very intelligent creatures, the more like us they seem. The use of these smart and feeling beings as entertainment is as outdated as the enslavement of others that we used to dismiss as less intelligent or worthy. The image of them as props perpetuates the idea that it's acceptable to capture and train them. The time to stand up is NOW- led by the Ringling Bro's BAN on performing elephants-  time to become part of a future that you want to create. It's time to take a stand and say- "NO MORE!
