Critical Race Theory Is Bad For Children

Critical Race Theory Is Bad For Children
The Issue
Imagine a black child and a white child sitting next to each other in class while being taught the ideas of Critical Race Theory. They are best friends. The white child is taught that one day, if not today, he will oppress his friend. The black child is taught that his best friend will one day oppress him. Critical Race Theory teaches that racism is systemic and in every part of society. Critical Race Theory rejects the teachings of Martin Luther King that the way forward is a color-blind society.
Critical Race Theory has no place in our schools and it is up to all parents to work together to stop what is happening in school districts all over the nation. Sign this petition and join the National Society for the Advancement of Black Americans to do what is best for this country. When we stop believing in a color-blind future, we stop aspiring to be fully human.
The facts don't support the assumptions of Critical Race Theory. In 1959, the black poverty rate was 55%. It fell to 34.7% by 1968. By 2018, the poverty rate was 20.7%. The white poverty rate was 18.8% in 1959. It fell to 10% in 1968. In 2018, the white poverty rate ROSE to 11.8%. How can CRT be real if whites are not benefiting? Our future is a color-blind America.
