The Silver Lake Neighborhood Council http://SilverLakeNC.org/ has threatened to fine the artist who painted the beautiful hearts on the Micheltorena St stairway, and the striking piano keys on the Murray Dr stairway, in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles.

In addition, another example of the artist's work was removed from the Descanso Dr stairway. We the petitioners respectfully request that the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council acknowledge, and preserve the beautiful artwork on Micheltorena St, and Murray Dr, and instead of threatening artists, embrace their work, and support and enable more stairway painting in the future!
