We must not lose ITALIAN in New Rochelle Elementary Schools!

Sign this petition to tell New Rochelle School District to keep Italian language and culture in the  elementary schools. In New Rochelle students start learning Italian in Kindergarten at Barnard school, and continue taking Italian through fifth grade. Their Italian studies continue in Middle School, and High School. 

The decision to cut this program in the elementary school would affect the students and faculty negatively, as well as the community. Let’s keep ITALIAN in the district. WE NEED EQUITY and CULTURAL AWARENESS. Let's continue to offer MORE THAN one language and not just one (Spanish).
