Pomperaug High School students pay a $175 fee for parking. This is significantly higher than our peer schools, which average $58. For many high school students who work minimum wage jobs, a $175 fee is too much to be saddled with. This problem can best be solved by the Pomperaug community unifying around this cause. Your signatures will show the Board of Education that students and their families are not content with paying the highest parking fee in our state. We would instead like to propose that each spot costs $50-$100.

To further show your support, we would love it if you could attend the next Board meeting on Monday, February 14th @ 7:30 pm in the Pomperaug High School Media Center to speak about your dissatisfaction with the current high price and how it has affected your life personally. These testimonies will show the Board the sense of urgency and need for change.
