This year, AACPS decided to change from Google Classroom to Brightspace for a gain of money. If you didn’t know, AACPS gets paid to use Brightspace and they switched because they weren’t getting enough benefit from GC. Brightspace is the most complex and confusing app for students. It has caused people to miss assignments and has created a mass confusion for not only students but teachers alike. We had just gotten used to GC. Why take it away? It’s incredibly hard to track your classes, teachers are struggling to figure out BS and how to make sure assignments are shown as due. I have to dig through BS and all my classes to find out what is due. It wastes my time vs. GC which just TOLD you what was due. You didn’t have to dig to find your assignments. Help us bring it back!!!
