To remove AAM as current HOA Management Company

The Issue

Villas at Trellis Homeowners feel that the current HOA Management company's policies and practices are ridiculous and unwarranted.

We present this petition to the Board to call a special meeting to remove Associated Asset Management LLC (AAM), and have a discussion as to our options.  Most importantly to replace them with a LOCAL and reliable company that will reply when we contact them.

Here is what we need:

To begin the removal process, a petition must be circulated calling for a special meeting. The Board must hold this special meeting within 30 days from the receipt of a petition signed by an adequate number of Homeowners.

-In smaller HOAs, those with 1,000 or fewer members, this petition must be signed by 25% of the members in the community [for us, 24 homes] or 100 members, whichever is less.

-Once the Board has received a petition with a sufficient number of signatures, they are required to provide written notice to all homeowners of the special meeting (with sufficient notice) and to hold the meeting within 30 days of receipt of the petition. At that special meeting, a quorum of at least 20% of the total homeowners must be present. Assuming there is such a quorum, it only takes the vote of a simple majority of those present at the meeting to pass.
