Fannin County residents are disgusted with Animal Control and how this department is being operated.

Citations for ordinances that are not followed are not being issued by Animal Control.

Safety issues regarding the health and welfare of puppies in the custody of Animal Control are being ignored.

Currently, the department head has the authority to pick and choose which animals must be rescued or which can be adopted.

Currently, the department head can pick and choose who can adopt with a contract for spay/neuter and who cannot.

Calls from citizens with agressive animal concerns are not consistently investigated.

If an owner of an animal has been identified and notified, there is not a specified time for the owner to pick up the animal. Several people have used Animal Control as free room and board for their animals and the department head has allowed this.

Overtime pay and holiday pay has been abused prior to Jan. 1, 2021 without a thought for the citizen paying for it in tax dollars.

For years, citizen after citizen has made complaints about John Drulliger to the Board of Commissioners to no avail.

John Drulliger has held his position for over 15 years. If he has not learned what his responsibilities are and made the efforts to uphold those responsibilities by now, he never will. HE NEEDS TO GO.

We are asking all three Board members by signing this petition to FIRE JOHN DRULLIGER NOW and hire someone who cares about the animals instead of receiving a paycheck.
