Dear Bluepoint games, I am here on behalf of the Demon's Souls fanbase to petition for the addition of the original OST into the remake. While the remade OST stands as a great piece of music in its own right, the essence of the original Demon's Souls lies in the original musical composition by, Shunsuke Kida. I do not ask for a replacement, merely for the option to switch to the original OST and for this to be a choice of the player.

The original Demon's Souls is a game beloved for several reasons, chiefly among them was its haunting atmosphere that made the player feel lonely and dispensable to the world. At the heart of this atmosphere, was its music in its minimalistic tone that instilled a sense of fear and dread in the already dead world of Bolitaria. 

In the remake, your studio did a fantastic job in bringing the world of Bolitaria into the next generation, yet the glaring tone shifts with the new music combat the subtle nature of the original game. Demon's Souls did not need a choir in every song, it did not need a forty person orchestra. Demon's Souls is a game loved not just for the gameplay, but firstly because of the oppressive atmosphere and artistic expression. Without this, it just doesn't feel much like Demon's Souls at the moment. So, from a Demon's Souls fan to another, please give us the option to switch back, even if the audio quality is the same as the original.
