Lives are lost everyday due to school shootings. It’s only February 19, 2018, as I write this, and already 18 school shootings have happened this year. That’s an average of 3 per week. Yet, the school system isn’t doing anything about it. I would like to petition that Blue Springs School District is made to be safer, and takes action to ensure that school shootings and tragedies can be prevented. March 7, 2018, I would like all schools in Blue Springs, to stage a walk out, to peacefully protest our rights as students.
