Thanks for all of your support in approving telehealth services. Blue Cross is beginning to pay claims but we’re still getting denials on some claims. The fight is still going for Early Intervention to approve telehealth. Our kids have gone a few weeks without services and who knows how long they will go without these crucial services. I reached out to my local state representative to urge to fight for children all over Illinois. I’m attaching his response that he received from HFS. All of their bullet points have very simple solutions, but they continue to take their time with this process, while other states QUICKLY approved early intervention. This is just not acceptable. So please, keep sharing and keep reaching out to your local state representative to aid us in this issue.
