Yesterday, the Governor of Illinois signed an executive order demanding that private insurers cover speech, occupational, and physical therapy under telehealth services! We're heading in the right direction because of your help! But we still need you! No where in that executive order mentions providing telehealth for our Early Intervention population, and developmental therapists are not listed as a provider for these services. We need to get louder and get ours voices heard to help our birth to 3 population. Early Intervention is allowing 15 minutes a week to talk to the parents on the phone. THAT'S IT! That is not enough time! We need these telehealth services approved now! Please keep sharing with all your friends and family members.
