The proposed RV park on Highway 81 will decrease property values in the immediate area. This temporary housing will bring an increased transient presence and subsequent crime commonly associated with RV parks into this small rural community. 

We the undersigned are appealing to the owner of Argus enterprises and the Anderson County Planning Committee to reconsider and cease their plans to develop an RV park and encourage Argus enterprises to find an alternative and more suitable location. We ask the Anderson County Planning Committee to stop this development from proceeding. 

We believe that this proposed RV park will have an adverse effect on daily life for the surrounding residential community members by creating an eyesore and increased foot traffic on a busy rural highway. 

We believe the proposed development will create noise, light, and garbage pollution. It will also diminish the existing watertable and increase crime and security issues in the surroudning area. 

We believe the "90 day site rental limit" will be easily circumvented by tenants looking to obtain a long term, low income living situation. This will essentially allow residents to live in our community utilizing our resources without contributing to the tax base. 

We plead with the planning commission to hear our concerns
