In the US alone the prison system hold 2.2 million people. Black men make up 5% of the us population. 25%of black men are incarcerated in the us. 1 in 3 black men will be incarcerated in there life, 1 in 17 prisoners are white. But what is the big issue? 25%of black men in the us can’t vote, can’t find jobs, can’t get foods stamps or apply to school. So they start committing petty crimes to feed themselves and their families.  If we actually started helping these people. Crime rates will go down. And political injustices against minorities would start to be solved. Because those minorities would begin to get their voices back. They would be able to vote on new laws and old ones. And the people who are affected by those laws will have a say in those laws.
