Upon Blizzards discovery of voice actor Jesse Mcree’s involvement in the Cosby Suite scandal they have made the unanimous decision to remove a beloved characters name from the FPS video game Overwatch. However I do believe what Jesse Mcree did was wrong in all respects to victims of what did happen I also do believe that we have all fallen in love with the character now referred to as “Cassidy”. I believe that names do not have to be one sided, we’ve had many evil people or people that others have believed to be evil, do we now change Donald Duck to Daniel Duck thanks to Donald Trump? No. Do we avoid naming our child Charles/Charlie in hopes he won’t grow up to be a cult leader? No. Do we avoid naming our children Jeffery so they don’t  become a cannibal or hurt little children? No So why should we change a character like Mcree just because someone he was named after was bad? Again yes what Jesse did was wrong what Manson did was wrong, what Dahmer did was wrong, what Epstein did was wrong, but we don’t avoid naming people these names just because one person with the name did something wrong, we don’t personally  attack anyone by these names for what people with the same name did? Regardless in conclusion the In game Mcree is a character not a person, he is not relative to whom he was named from. His name shouldn’t be censored Mcree is the story of a cowboy with a six shooter not a human who made bad decisions,  Mcree is Mcree and will always be known as Mcree. Stop the censorship, cut the crap, and give us back Mcree. #Bring Back Mcree
