I'm not entirely sure this is even really the right platform to do this but at this point I figure I have nothing else to lose. Within the past week my Overwatch account was banned for "the use of cheats/hacks" however I have never used any type of cheat or hack in Overwatch. The most recent time I had played on my account was for Arcade lootboxes and before that was in a live streamed tourney match. Overwatch has it's replay system so between that and the live-streamed event there is ample evidence that I am an innocent and legitimate player, but when I went to ask for my ban to be lifted they seemingly ignored all this evidence and told me that I had violated their terms and conditions, the ban will last, and that they consider the matter closed and it's not open to discussion. I am a GM player with hundreds of hours in the game starting from season one who has been in the competitive teamplay scene for years and have many people who can vouch for my innocence. As I was discussing this with my team I discovered that I am not an isolated incidence, but two of my teammates had gone through similar experiences, and after checking on the forums it seems to have happened to many other players as well.

All I'm asking for is that if somebody is going to receive a ban for cheating, that it is actually verified that they are indeed cheating. I have been wrongly banned and lost everything merely from bad luck and am told that there is nothing I can do to prove my innocence. I am not alone in this and I would like to have my account unbanned and at very least prevent this from happening to anybody else. People say that cheating ruins the fun for others, which is true. But the whole purpose is rendered useless if the very anti-cheat system that is in place to maintain the legitimate players bans those very ones it is supposed to protect.
