Whereas; as Overwatch is expanding into multiple forms of media like the comics or forthcoming novel The Hero Of Numbani, this show seems an even more obvious direction for them to take

Whereas; many people have criticized the supposedly shoddy writing the lore already has and such an ongoing serial presentation of it would help clarify what inconsistencies there are (both in terms of clearing them up and what's actually inconsistent) and help the fans have more faith in the writers by "forcing" them to consolidate

Whereas; unless Overwatch not only goes free-to-play but is on Macs as well, it's still depriving people of not just an excellent game but the awesome story and diverse roster of characters (which might inspire some kid to greatness thinking "they look like me, I could do the kind of things they do") which a TV show could give anyone access to if it was on broadcast TV

Whereas; Blizzard has enough clout to help bring back the Saturday Morning Cartoon and that seems like a perfect place for such a show

Whereas; League Of Legends (often seen as a major competitor to Overwatch despite actually being in the same subgenre as Heroes Of The Storm) is already getting a cartoon adaptation of its lore coming to Netflix soon (and on broadcast TV an Overwatch cartoon could have greater reach and beat it out)

Whereas; with the diversity, OC-friendliness and the engaging storytelling (when we get any sort of story proper) present in the lore, an Overwatch cartoon based on the lore could have all the hallmarks of the next Steven Universe (and just like that, it'd have the perfect tonal balance of goofy-but-not-too-childish-for-the-adults and dealing-with-"adult-issues"-but-not-getting-too-grimdark-for-the-kids) and look at how big that got

Therefore; Blizzard should make an animated series based on the lore of Overwatch ideally on broadcast TV if possible.
