For those who aren't aware, the South Park theatrical movie (South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut)
is primarily centered on themes of censorship and scapegoating, and also parodies and satirizes
the animated films of the Disney Renaissance, musicals such as Les Misérables, and controversies
surrounding the series itself. The film also heavily satirizes the Motion Picture Association of
America, as the show's during creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone disputed with the MPAA during
production, which returned the film multiple times with an NC-17 rating due to its frequent use
of profanity. The film received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised its story,
soundtrack, humor and themes.

 

HOWEVER, the movie suffers from a lot of major problems regarding its content, not counting all
the constant and very excessive swearing. In fact, it even has a Guinness World Record for most
swear words in an animated movie, totaling 399, and one more would have gotten an NC-17 rating,
instead of an R rating. There are three big issues concerning said social commentary that wrecks
the whole point of the movie. One: The movie acts very racist and disrespectful to actual Canadians
as the parents of South Park think that they are solely responsible for corrupting children with
vulgar language and inappropriate media. Also, the Canadians are treated like the Jews during the
Holocaust as they're victims of murder, torture, and genocide, and are being sent to concentration
camps. The song number "Blame Canada" is the cornerstone of the problem, as its satire for both
the song and the movie as a whole is horribly executed, and often comes off like it's contradicting
its own message, the lyrics are terrible, and the vocals are grating and annoying. Also, the song
was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 72nd Academy Awards, but lost to
Phil Collins' "You'll Be in My Heart" from Disney's Tarzan. Trey and Matt did not take the loss
lightly, and therefore poked fun at Collins in the season 4 episode "Timmy 2000" because of it. Not
only does it make Trey and Matt look very petty and vindictive, but it's also insulting and
disrespectful to Phil Collins.

 

 

 

Two: The movie portrays Americans as bigoted idiots who end up becoming Canada-hating Censorship
Nazis, and the film makes several references and allusions to World War II, the Nazis, the
Ku Klux Klan, and the Holocaust, which can be very racist and distasteful to certain audiences.
Now all those cases are probably just a coincidence and unintentional, but that's no excuse for how
offensive and disrespectful they are. Plus, it acts racist and distasteful to Americans for how the
entire USA becomes Nazi Germany, and even to African Americans, as there's even an operation where
the African Americans are on the front lines as a "human shield" in the war.

 

 

 

Three: Kyle's mother, Sheila Broflovski, the main primary antagonist of the movie is portrayed as
the female Jewish equivalent of Adolf Hitler (if not worse), as not only is her hatred for
Canadians just as bad or even worse than Hitler's hatred of the Jews, but she caused a war between
United States and Canada, attempted genocide of Canadians, had Canadians getting sent off to
concentration camps (including her adopted youngest son and Kyle's adopted baby bother, Ike, who's
Canadian himself), Americans boycotting anything of Canadian origin (very similar to the actions
of the Nazis during World War II), and almost caused the apocalypse by killing Terrence and Phillip
which allows Satan, his minions, and Saddam Hussein to burst out from Hell and take over the world,
all over her being offended by profanity. And to make matters worse, she never gets any comeuppance
for any of her actions, making her a Karma Houdini. However, she does show remorse at the end of
the movie and apologizes for what she did, and all the casualties and damage are undone. But it
doesn't redeem her for all the atrocities she caused, as her showing remorse and apologizing is
horribly executed, being really disingenuous, forced and rushed, and she just still ended up doing
almost all the same things she did before after this. Also, she doesn't care about trying to make
the world a better and safer place for children as she claims to be doing, she only cares about
having complete domination of all the media outlets in the world and destroying anything that she
finds even the slightest bit offensive to her. She acts very discriminatory and racist against
Canadians because she thinks that they are solely responsible for corrupting children with vulgar
language and inappropriate media. She is also a very pretentious and delusional hypocrite, as she
thinks that murder, torture, and genocide are all acceptable in order to eliminate vulgarity and
toilet humor, despite using some of the latter subjects herself. Also, her hatred of Canadians
comes off as very hypocritical, since her adopted youngest son and Kyle's adopted baby bother, Ike,
is Canadian himself. And her voice can get very irritating and grating, especially when she's
constantly ranting about offensive media and Canadians being a negative influence on children.

 

 

 

Also, the Mole, a new character who's introduced for the first time here, had the potential to be
a great recurring character for the show. But unfortunately, he gets mauled to death by a pack of
guard dogs after getting only 15 minutes of screentime. He only made a brief cameo appearance in
the episode "Two Guys Naked in a Hot Tub", where he is seen on Late Night with Conan O'Brien,
while Stan channel surfs. And none of the other new characters are given any attention in the
series either, especially Gregory, who never appeared on the show outside this movie, not even as
a cameo. To make things worse, the season 21 episode "SUPER HARD PCness" had a side-plot that
blatantly rehashed the movie's plot where Kyle started to act like his mom and also acted racist
against Canadians himself, and this led to Canada getting nuked and with no way to undo all the
casualties and damage that were caused by this.

That's why I'm making this petition, because of fact that the movie had caused all this unnecessary
racism and disrespect to our neighbors to the north and Sheila got off Scott free for no good reason!
We must put an end to all insulting of Canada in South Park and other shows once and for all! Ban the
movie, "Blame Canada" and "SUPER HARD PCness" in Canada! All the casualties and damage caused in
"SUPER HARD PCness" must be undone, we need Gregory and the Mole to appear on the show and be given
more proper screentime and focus as regular recurring characters! And especially, we must have Sheila
pay for all her crimes against humanity and be given proper retribution! Have her be killed off and
sentenced to eternal damnation in Hell for all the murder, torture, and genocide she caused! Do all
of this in either the show, the film sequel, or the series finale! So let's band together and give
everyone in South Park what they deserve! Viva la Resistance!
