Black Successful Entrepreneur Wrongfully Jailed

Black Successful Entrepreneur Wrongfully Jailed
The Issue
My name is Julian Everett and I am a young Black business owner in the D.C. Capitol area. I am currently writing you from a state detention center in Prince George's county Maryland, being held without bond. I had always dreamed of opening a vintage style barber shop in my hometown and with some luck I was able to find a space on historic U Street in DC. But with success came a lot of jealousy and envy among the local black community because I am a black conservative in a primarily democratic city. It was around this time I broke up with my son's mother who is a very spiteful woman and became suspiciously distant because I moved on and into a new relationship with my current girlfriend.Anticipation was building for a grand opening planned for April 1 2019 for my second location on Capitol Hill. On March 24, 2019, I was arrested at my home and charged with sexual misconduct, rape and assault, which was a total shock. These charges all stem from an anonymous letter written to D.C. Superior Court, to have me investigated on those accusations. The letter also included pictures of fake social media accounts and ones I have not use in years, which were altered. The only person known to illegally access my online accounts and write letters is my son's mother .

HAPPENING NOW: ANOTHER BLACK MALE IN JAIL “I CANNOT BREATHE”
Imprisoned for over a year no trial no conviction, was refused medical help during the covid virus for many months. When he cried out “I CAN’T BREATHE “ no one came to help, he wrote the medical dept but was never responded to. Now a few weeks ago eventually the doctor saw him and diagnosed that he did have asthma, which was the proof of his medical report which his lawyers included in his 4th motion for home release but was denied. Now he is still in jail with also finding out that he has high blood pressure 155/121 when the doctor eventually saw him a month ago, still have not receive any medicine for this. Found out lungs and liver are very damage due to the lack of medical treatment. Even thou he has not been convicted plus with proof now that he has these underlying conditions, they would not let come out for home detention which is what the law say should be done. I am fighting this unjust system that has my son suffering and could die because of their injustice and medical neglect. THIS IS ANOTHER CASE OF “I CANNOT BREATHE “. Taking place in Upper Marlboro PG Jail. Help fight for my son life-his name is JULIAN EVERETT
