Black History Month → June

Black History Month → June
The Issue
Move Black History Month to June, rebrand to African American Month, and Provide Free Essential Life Skills Education for African-Americans.
Proposal:
→ Move Black History Month from February to June. Because, at the very least, Juneteenth.
→ Rebrand "Black History Month" as "African American Month." Why focus solely on history when we can channel our energy into addressing the current inequities that continue to afflict America today?
→ Provide free access to vital educational resources, and courses at all colleges across the United States (online and in-person). According to a report by Prosperity Now (2019), 41% of black households fall below the federal poverty line compared with 14% of white households. By providing free access to these vital educational resources we can help bridge this economic gap.
