We are asking our school to consider allowing students to wear black and white jeans in addition to the jeans that are already permitted.

Black and white jeans provide a clean, polished appearance while still being comfortable and practical for students. They are appropriate for a school setting and reflect the type of clothing commonly accepted in many professional and business-casual workplaces. Allowing students to wear these colors can help encourage a more professional appearance and better prepare us for future work environments.

Adding black and white jeans to the dress code would also make the policy easier to understand by clearly expanding the list of approved colors. This small change would give students more flexibility in choosing school-appropriate clothing while continuing to uphold the school’s standards for appearance.

We respectfully ask the administration to consider updating the dress code to allow black and white jeans. We believe this change would benefit students while maintaining a positive and professional learning environment.
