Less than a week following the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant and 8 others, Gayle King held an interview with Kobe’s long term friend Lisa Leslie assassinating his character over allegations he was a acquitted for. Gayle received a great deal of backlash from the community of Mr. Bryant’s followers, but has yet to public apologize to his family and fans directly. Ms. King went public blaming everyone but her actions for the recoil. Over the course of the last two years we the people have seen Gayle by way of “journalism” assault the character of men of color while not naming the short falls of her white male counterparts.
