To the Bishop of Agra, Archdiocese of Agra & The Governing Body of Sherwood College, Nainital, 

In the face of increasing negative publicity against Sherwood, as well as recent reports of multiple instances of gross negligence by the principal and its staff, leading the death of at least 3 Sherwoodians while in school custody, we ask that you remove the current principal of Sherwood, Mr. Amandeep Sandhu, from his position to protect the students of Sherwood. 

Mr. Amandeep Sandhu has been grossly negligent of students, their health and their education. In the past month, there have been two serious breaches of trust placed by the parents, with one leading to the death of a child and another leading to immediate withdrawal following accusations of sexual assualt and corruption, with several other incidents occurring in the past couple of years under this principal. This has led to a complete downtrodden reputation for the college, significant loss of trust from alumni and parents and has established a corrupt principal who continues to shirk his primary responsibility to the health and education of students. Some examples of these recent breaches of trust are highlighted below. 

1. 2 boys dead and several injured in 2010

2. Recent death of student due to negligence (2014)

3. Recent outburst by parents against the school. Accusations of sexual assault

4. Attempted molestation of boy by Sherwood staff, despite the presence of the wardens

5. Magesterial probe for culpable homicide against the principal

We understand that getting a new principal will not solve all of Sherwood's problems, but it is step in the right direction where the students, their parents and the alumni will all have greater trust in the system. 

Instating a new principal at Sherwood will ensure that no student ever dies in the custody of the school. 

Instating a new principal at Sherwood will drive out this corruption, where parents have to pay to get their students into school. 

Instating a new principal at Sherwood will increase the level of care the students receive, both in terms of their education and their health. 

Instating a new principal at Sherwood will reinstil the faith and trust Old Sherwoodians have in their alma mater. 

Instating a new principal at Sherwood will reinstil the faith and trust parents place in a boarding school and its staff, when they leave their child in its precious hands. 

Instating a new principal at Sherwood will prevent future instances of gross negligence of the students' health at the hands of the staff and principal. 

Instating a new principal at Sherwood will be a step towards restoring the school to its former glory, where the students can become better people because they were trained to be so at Sherwood.
