**This issue has now been happily resolved - the dog was claimed by his original owner and relinquished to the aforementioned charity where he has made great progress and conitnues to thrive. Thank you to everyone for your support.**

A stray husky (nicknamed Marv) found wandering the streets of Birmingham was brought to Birmingham Dogs Home with the expectation that he would be cared for and given the chance of a happier life. Instead he has been labelled as un-rehomable and will be destroyed. 

A specialist husky charity has stepped forward willing to take care of him for the rest of his life.

But Birmingham Dogs Home are refusing to let him go. They would rather use their limited resources to have him destroyed.

By signing this petition, together we can show Birmingham Dogs Home that what they are planning to do is a senseless and heartless act, especially when it would not cost them a penny to let Marv have the second chance he deserves.
