Residents of Charles Road in Small Heath Ward residing above shops have not been provided with a bin facility to dispose of refuse and recycled waste as they do not have any wheelie bins.

Birmingham City Council has asked residents to use black bags and dispose of waste, which in recent times has led to attracting flytipping, the stench from this rubbish does not allow any fresh air to come into their properties, leading to heaps of rubbish dumped on their doorstep on this busy road in Small Heath. 

Businesses are also impacted by the flytipping. 

The residents demand Birmingham City Council for action to be taken and bins to be provided, residents take responsibility of storing these bins.
