British Councillors and MP’s are trying to segregate the British Somali community by dividing them back to tribal loyalties.

We were shocked to hear that Sheffield council has taken the stance to declare they recognise Somaliland as an independent state within Somalia.

Already Hundreds have died in the conflict between the secessionists and the other tribes in North Somalia.

The Somali community in Bristol has reported that there has been division in the community as a falloff from the Secession movement in Bristol, and this has been reported to the police. The Secession is now campaigning to be recognised as independent state from other U.K councils.

This division in Bristol is clearly a safeguarding issue within Somali communities in the UK as a whole.

It is time for us to act and fight for our unity.
