As most people are aware we lost our 7 year old boy on the 8th of August after he was run over outside our home on the 29th of July this year by our neighbour although the Birmingham childrens hospital did all that they could we had to let him go after a 10 day battle he fought so hard for. We are doing everything in our power to make sure that an incident like this never occurs again by asking the council to put a speed limit restriction, speed bumps, children playing signs and anything else that could prevent any other parent having to go through what we currently are. 

Our george was very well known by many many people in the local area and we would like to have the name of the road that he was hit on changed in memory of him. We will never be able to speak to him hold him see his smile treat him to anything no more birthdays or Christmases with him and that is tearing us apart inside  as a family as i can never have my sweet boy back but what I can do as his mum is make sure his memory lives on in every and any which way possible. 

We are asking for anybody that believes his memory should live on and have the name of the road changed to sign our petition so we can present it to the council in the hopes of having it changed from Debenham Road to George Road.
