The Diversity Coordinator initiates and manages projects that serve underrepresented groups on campus some of which include: First Gen students, students with disabilities, students with food insecurity, student veterans, students with dependents, students with mental illnesses, Catholic students, and student athletes. A lack of devoted institutional space for these groups puts these students at risk of continued marginalization. The vote will take place this Thursday at 4:30 in Senate and I need your help. Please sign this petition if you want SGA to vote in favor of keeping the postion as part of the constitution for the 2020-2021 school year. This is an opportunity to make your voice heard to the student government and advocate for those who need help representing themselves.
