We as students have been doing online school all year, with very few breaks. Students deserve more than a month of summer to refresh our mental and physical health to prepare for the year to come.

Many BCSS Parents want their children to go back to school in August  and have the break during the year. However, Bill Crothers Board is not listening to what the students want.

Students who take summer school will only get to have two weeks of an actual break. During those breaks students can’t even see their friends because of COVID or because they attend other schools.

Also, if in class learning starts in September, more kids will have a chance to get fully vaccinated. 

BCSS: please think about how the students may feel about this before sending everyone back in August.
