Where are my Belleview High School parents that disagree with the school doing normal day, football game and then straight to homecoming dance right after on Thursday. I paid $30 for ticket and $160 on a dress. I know that Florida has a lot more important things to worry about right now. But these kids work very hard, they enjoy this time and experience and deserve to have this right of passage. I understand that with hurricane Milton was not planned but then why can we not do it right and reschedule till another date. Let's get together and go to the school and come up with an alternative. Other school that was rescheduled because of the hurricane was scheduled on Saturday November 2. Should we not be involved in this decision? There has to be another solution other then this one.
