Request for Development and Maintenance of BHEL Roller Skating Ground  

Dear BHEL Management, BHEL Community Centre, and BHEL  Township Administration,  

We are writing to draw your attention to the current state of the BHEL Roller Skating Ground, a facility with immense potential to be one of the finest play grounds within the BHEL premises. This ground serves as a hub for young children, many of whom have gone on to represent at national and international levels, fostering and inspiring a passion for roller skating.  

Unfortunately, the ground has not been adequately maintained, leading to challenges and discomfort for the children. Some have suffered injuries, while others are unable to use the ground regularly due to its poor condition. This lack of upkeep not only diminishes the quality of their experience but may also discourage them from pursuing this promising sport.  

We, as parents, earnestly request your esteemed offices to take prompt action in maintaining and developing the BHEL Roller Skating Ground. Proper maintenance would not only ensure the safety and well-being of the children but also enhance the ground's appeal as both a recreational and professional sports facility.  

Your attention to this matter would greatly benefit the children and the broader skating community. We sincerely hope for your positive response and timely action.

Preserving Skating in BHEL: A Crucial Need for Our Young Athletes

Among various challenges, BHEL employees are facing significant difficulties in keeping their children engaged in skating. As employees, they are unable to travel long distances for training, making it extremely challenging for their children to access proper coaching. The lack of an international-standard skating track nearby further hampers their progress.

Despite these obstacles, every year, nearly 15 to 20 skaters from BHEL qualify for the National Championship. However, due to the substandard skating facility available to them, they struggle to secure top positions at the national level.

Skating is the only sport in BHEL that is actively pursued at a competitive level, making it imperative for the management to take necessary steps to protect and improve the existing skating ground. A well-maintained and upgraded facility will not only enhance the performance of young skaters but also uphold the legacy of competitive skating within BHEL.

The support of the management in preserving and developing this facility will ensure that BHEL continues to produce top-tier skaters who can compete and win at the highest levels.
