I am a regular commuter in Bristol, relying on our public transport network not only for my daily commute to work but also for traveling around the city and its surrounding areas. Unfortunately, the current system is unreliable, extremely poor performing and not fit-for-purpose.

The West of England Combined Authority and the UK Government must recognize that an efficient public transport system is crucial to our community's economic growth, environmental sustainability, and overall quality of life. Currently, many residents share my experience of delayed or cancelled buses or trains leading to missed appointments, being cut off from other communities or the city or late for work. 

We demand that the West of England Combined Authority along with the UK Government set up a dedicated transport body responsible for providing a reliable, frequent and high-quality transport system in Bristol and its surrounding areas. We deserve better than what we currently have – it's time we had a service that meets our needs.
