Remove Paid Mods on Fallout 4
Remove Paid Mods on Fallout 4
The Issue
The removal of the Creation Club for Fallout 4 & Skyrim SE. Long enough has the gaming industry struggeled with the issue of "Microtransactions" and Pre-Order Culture. And now Bethedsa is pitching in with their new "mini dlc" (Paid Modifications. That mostly are already available, AND in better versions. For FREE On the Nexus) this is simply not the way to continue forward as a company with a PR Reputation. And a loyal fanbase that has already voiced their opinion about these Paid Mods. When valve, and Bethesda. Tried to capitalize on making paid mods for Skyrim on Steam. Which quickly backfired. And forced them to damage control, remove the paid mods. And since then, it has not been mentioned by valve ever again. It both saddens me and angers me that such a good and well respected games developer and publisher have decided to go this way of making something available for free into a paid, exclusive luxury. We as gamers, consumers & most of all. People. Should not accept this, and we must do what it takes for our voices to be heard.
