Hi! I’m a senior at Cane Bay High School and I’m creating this petition to let us put on our spring musical “Into The Woods”. Although there are only about 20 of us in this cast we are a powerhouse! We have put in hours of work and we had already started on Act 2! We believe that we can put this show on stage in late May if the district will allow it. Our drama company directors have made multiple plans to still get this show on stage because they know we can do this! The entire cast is very committed and are willing to put in the extra hours and online rehearsals! I’m hoping that maybe this will help! I’m a senior and I have a lead role so this has dramatically effected my senior year as it is something I’ve been looking forward to since early September. This was my last hope for a great end to senior year and to have it taken hurts my heart. The role I have has been one of my dream roles for quite a while and I don’t think that an opportunity will come up like this again. If there’s one thing I want in my senior year it’s this show! I hope you understand the time and effort we have put into this show and the money that has already been spent on it!
